Topacio Marrero is a Dominican-American author born and raised in Washington Heights, NYC and resides in Florida.
Topacio's writing has been featured on Sun-Sentinel, The Daily Beast, Community Change Wire, Blavity, HuffPost, Medium, and Vocal Media. She is the author of "Awakening Poetry" currently available for purchase. 
Topacio is a Freelance Writer and Administrator. She is also the founder of MamaHood Village, 501c (3) in which she helps mothers in need with basic necessities for their infants.
